According to a brand new report that surfaced on February 11th, then confirmed by @evleaks as well, the Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 Edge will both go up for pre-order the same day they're announced.

Meaning carriers, retail stores like Best Buy and more will all open up pre-orders on February 21st. To make things even more exciting Samsung will be giving out a free Samsung Gear VR headset to those who pre-order. That's yet to be confirmed, but a few reliable sources of ours state it is.

We'll have to wait and see on the free Gear VR, but it's looking like February 21st will be the official launch and pre-order date for the new Galaxy.
