Users can expect many retail stores and online shops to start taking pre-orders as soon as the phone is announced on February 21st. Most notable those will be Amazon and Best Buy. Samsung and Best Buy have a partnership with experience shops or “kiosks” inside of Best Buy stores, and we could even see an exclusive color option, storage size, or version for Best Buy. Not to mention early hands-on before the US release date.
We're expecting Radio Shack, Costco, Walmart and many others to try and jump into the action and get buyers in their stores. We saw the same thing last year, but typically the best deals or exclusive colors can be found at Best Buy, or great prices on Amazon. |

Samsung’s September 2015 announcement of their marshmallow OS was, perhaps, one of the worst corporate decisions they ever made. Presumably that OS was ready for prime time as it was released to certain Nexus smartphones for immediate use. Then, nothing for all other smartphones including their own s6 and s6 Edge and for six months.,stll nothing.
Now we’re hearing about the impending release of the s7 and s7 Edge. But, will they, again, delay distribution of those phones for another six months?
Samsung, your customer base remains in total limbo. Please get your act together!
