Tablet PC and UMPC enthusiasts rejoice – Samsung’s 1.8″ 64GB SSDs should be hitting OEMs soon, although I suspect the initial upgrade could cost upwards of $1000 or more. Price wise, this should bode well for the current 32GB SSD drives.
It wouldn’t surprise me to hear an official announcement soon from Samsung, regarding a new 64GB SSD version of their Q1 Ultra, although I suspect you’d need to take out a second mortgage in order to buy one.
