The snooping extension for Firefox, Firesheep, continues to draw focus and concern. We reported on Fireshepherd, an extension that would allow you to escape those prying eyes earlier and it looks like other solutions are becoming available as well.
Josh Einstein has also pointed me to a post on LifeHacker that tells us that Microsoft now offers an Always-On Secure HTTPS Connection feature for that email service. Those who see the silver lining in the Firesheep story are saying that hopefully this will lead everyone to eventually switch HTTPS on for safer web browsing for all of us.
