If you're still on iOS 8.4.1 or below, you might want to skip iOS 9.0.2 and wait for the iOS 9.1 update to arrive. 

iOS 9.1 should bring some additional bug fixes to the table but that's not all. We've been hearing good things about iOS 9.1 and its performance. Testers are saying that its performance trumps both the iOS 9.0 update and the iOS 8.4.1 update.

iOS 9.1 has been solid on newer devices like the iPhone 6s and iPhone 6 but performance has been subpar on older devices like the iPhone 5. iOS 9.1 will bring everything iOS 9.0 has to offer and more so you might be better off waiting for iOS 9.1 and its enhancements to arrive before making your move to the new OS. 

Our advice is to dig into iOS 9.1 and feedback for your individual device before the update is released. That way, you'll be prepared when Apple decides to release it.
