As you make your way through the vast land of Skyrim you'll encounter several friendly named canines. Dogs like fan-favorite Meeko. Unfortunately, these dogs can die. Very sad. If you don't want Meeko or any other named dogs to die, take a look at this mod. 

Invincible Dogs of Skryim makes dogs like Meeko invincible so you don't ever have to worry about them taking a dirt nap. The mod doesn't add any special abilities, it just makes them essential characters.

Here's the list of dogs who get essential status with this mod installed:

• Bran: The armored husky in Fort Dawnguard.
• CuSith: The Death Hound in Volkihar Keep.
• Garmr: The Death Hound in Volkihar Keep.
• Meeko: The dog that can be found at Meeko's Shack.
• Sceolang: The armored husky in Fort Dawnguard.
• Vigilance: The dog that you can buy from Banning at the Markarth stables for 500 gold.
