This news is more ubiquitous than 3G coverage in the US today. Sprint and Clearwire have announced that they are teaming up to build the largest WiMAX network in the US, aiming to serve over 300 million people. They’ll create the two networks separately and allow seamless roaming between the two for their respective customers. Sprint hopes its WiMAX Network will reach 100 million customers by the end of 2008.
Good news if it all comes true as promised. Now if Sprint could just get EVDO (either revision) here in The Land That 3G Forgot, where I live, I’d be happy.
