Syncables 360 v6 makes sync simpler



syncablesSyncables, the software company that sounds like they sell “sync cables” but don’t, has released a new version of their 360 sync system. The new v6 release adds sync with BlackBerry and Windows Mobile phones, contacts sync, and integration with Flickr in addition to Facebook, YouTube, and SmugMug. This is addition to the ability to sync, migrate, stream, and share files and media between Windows, Mac, and Linux PCs. Details on the updates after the jump.

  • Mobile phone syncing with a PC: 2-way syncing of media between Blackberry or Windows Mobile phones and a Windows PC.  Syncables 360 recognize the phone’s operating system then automatically converts the content to play optimally on the phone.  It also recognizes newly added media on the mobile phone, such as photos, and syncs the media to the user-designated folder.
  • Contact Syncing: Now syncs Outlook, Windows Mail and Thunderbird contacts between Windows, Mac and Linux computers.
  • Integration of Flickr® photo sharing service: Flickr® photo sharing service is now integrated within Syncables 360. Users can easily upload and share their photos or playback all of their Flickr® published content.  Facebook, YouTubeâ„¢ and SmugMug are also available.
  • Enhanced user interface and wizard: Syncables 360 has an enhanced user interface for easier management and viewing of data, as well as a setup wizard that walks users thru the simple process of making two or more computers “Syncable.”
