The T-Mobile Galaxy Note 3 comes with 4G LTE, like the models on the rest of U.S. carriers, but T-Mobile’s fledgling 4G LTE network does not cover as many users. Currently the T-Mobile 4G LTE network covers 167 million people in the U.S. Even though the network is small it may be one of the first to offer LTE Advanced, a new LTE technology that can deliver better speeds and reliability. The Samsung Galaxy Note 3 supports LTE Advanced, at least at an international level. We’ll need to wait to see if the T-Mobile Galaxy Note 3 delivers the same connectivity options once pre-orders start and specs are posted.

The T-Mobile Galaxy Note 3 price is set at $199 with 24 monthly payments of $21 for a total cost of $703, about $25 cheaper than buying Galaxy Note 3 off contract at AT&T and on par with the AT&T NEXT Galaxy Note 3 price over 20 months.

T-Mobile plans to sell the Galaxy Gear smartwatch which Samsung bills as a companion to the Galaxy Note 3. The Galaxy Gear goes on sale on October 2nd as well with a $299 price tag and no options to buy it on a JUMP plan as it is an expensive Galaxy Note 3 accessory, not a standalone smartphone. The Galaxy Gear only works with the Note 3 at this point, but should work with the Galaxy Note 2, Galaxy S3 and Galaxy S4 after updates arrive in October. No specific timing for the device updates on carriers is offered.
