In last 2012, T-Mobile USA finally announced that it would be carrying the iPhone at some point in 2013. When T-Mobile originally made the announcement, it did not specify exactly when the iPhone would arrive. Finally though, those looking to snag an official T-Mobile iPhone have a tentative release date courtesy of the carrier’s CEO.

After years of unofficially offering the iPhone on its network, T-Mobile finally announced that it would be offering Apple’s iconic smartphone at some point in 2013. The carrier did not specify the model nor a release date but comments made to Reuters by T-Mobile CEO John Legere have shed some light on one of the mysteries.

The T-Mobile iPhone Release Date will likely be released in three to four months.

Legere has revealed that the iPhone should be hitting T-Mobile’s network in three to four months rather than in six to nine months. If true, that should mean that the T-Mobile iPhone release date should fall during the months of April or May.

And if that’s true, it could mean that T-Mobile will announce and release the current iPhone, the iPhone 5, which was released back in September. However, the iPhone 5S or iPhone 6, Apple’s next-generation iPhone, is rumored for launch as early as May so it could be that T-Mobile snags the new iPhone. But given that Apple has announced previous iPhones at WWDC in June and in the fall, it seems unlikely.

What is likely though is a launch on T-Mobile’s new 4G LTE network that is set to make its debut in Las Vegas in just a few weeks. T-Mobile will finally be rolling out its high-speed 4G LTE network to compete against the likes of AT&T, Sprint and Verizon and it’s looking like the carrier will make the iPhone, the Samsung Galaxy S4, the Galaxy Note 2 and most likely, the Galaxy S4 its star attractions.

In fact, the T-Mobile iPhone will likely arrive around the same time that T-Mobile will see the Galaxy S4, a device that is rumored for launch in the first half of 2013.

Those interested in snagging the iPhone on T-Mobile will be faced with unsubsidized pricing as the carrier will likely be getting rid of its subsidized pricing by the time Apple’s smartphone hits T-Mobile’s network.
