The Avengers Age of Ultron Themes Arrive for Galaxy S6 & S6 Edge

If you cannot wait to see The Avengers Age of Ultron in theaters you need to download the new Avengers Age of Ultron themes for your Samsung Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 Edge.

These free Avengers 2 themes change the look of your Samsung smartphone to match the Avengers with an overall The Avengers Age of Ultron theme and individual themes for the main cast including Iron Man, Hulk, Black Widow, Hawkeye and Captain America.

You will need a Samsung Galaxy S6 or Galaxy S6 Edge to make this work, so no luck for iPhone owners or for users with older Android phones.

Use Iron Man, Thor or Black Widow as a new The Avengers Age of Ultron theme on your Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 Edge.

Avengers Age of Ultron arrives in theaters tonight, Thursday April 30th as early as 7 PM in some locations. While you wait to see it, here’s how you can show your alliance with the Avengers on your smartphone.

How to Install Avengers Age of Ultron Themes

On your Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 Edge there is built-in theme support as part of the new Samsung software. With this you can choose a large variety of themes that change the look of the phone, the apps, icons, and even your sounds. The best Galaxy S6 themes so far are for The Avengers 2.

Watch the video above to learn how you can use the free The Avengers Age of Ultron themes on your Galaxy S6, including where to download them and how to switch between the themes.

Go to Settings -> Themes  to see the themes you already have installed. Now Tap on Store at the top. Scroll down about halfway to see the The Avengers Age of Ultron themes that you can download and install. Tap on More to see all of them on one page.

Tap on an individual theme to see a preview of the theme including what it changes in the apps and the home screen and lock screen. Tap on Download and the process will start. You will need to wait for this to download and then for it to install before you can apply the theme.

After the free Avengers Age of Ultron theme downloads, you can go back to Settings -> Themes -> Tap on the Theme -> Tap Apply -> Tap Apply again. Wait a few seconds for the switch. This warns about possibly lost apps or data, but this has not happened to us in multiple switches, so I wouldn’t worry about it.

You can put the Avengers on your lock screen, but Hawkeye is left out.

There are several The Avengers Age of Ultron themes you can install on your Galaxy S6 or Galaxy S6 Edge. Here is the current list;

  • IRONMAN
  • Black Widow
  • The Hulk
  • Captain America
  • Thor
  • Hawkeye

And there is also an overall Avengers theme with four of the cast in the photo. There is no Hawkeye, which may be part of why Hawkeye sang an Ed Sheeran’s “Thinking Out Loud” Parody on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.

When you apply one of the Avengers themes for your Galaxy S6 it will change the look of your lock screen, home screen, Samsung apps like the clock, calendar, widgets, Notification center and the look of apps to name a few of the changes.

You can always go back to the stock theme if you don’t want Hawkeye on your screen anymore by going to Settings -> Themes and tapping on default.

Can’t find it in the stores which not so cool for us in Africa. Maybe Samsung classed it’s users, making us the class B users for a phone we all bought at the same price
