The ECS H70 Tablet PC
DailyTech.com ( via UMPCNews.com )has an interesting report regarding ECS’ new UMPC – the H70. According to DailyTech, they are saying that the H70 will be marketed as a Tablet PC and not a UMPC. That is pretty strange considering that it has all the features of a UMPC / Origami.
Elitegroup Computer Systems has just received the Federal Communications Commission’s thumbs-up on its version of an ultra mobile PC.
The H70 is an Intel Pentium M powered UMPC which will come in two different models: Value and Premium. The Value model comes with an Intel Celeron M 900MHz CPU with a 400MHz front-side bus and 512KB L2 cache, 256MB of DDR400 flavored SDRAM, and a 30GB hard while the Premium model will come with an Intel Pentium M ULV 1GHz CPU with a 400MHz front-side bus and 2MB of L2 cache, 512MB of DDR400 SDRAM, and a larger 60GB hard drive.
