You can watch The Grand Tour right now on Amazon Prime. Originally slotted to go live on Amazon on November 18th, timed up with a rare Amazon Prime deal that cuts $20 off the price of admission to this new show — you don’t need to wait any longer.
The Grand Tour features Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond and James May — re-united in Top Gear fashion in a new show that combines comedy, cars, travel and spending lots of Amazon’s money on antics that entertain us all.
This is free with your Amazon Prime membership. You can watch this in the U.S, U.K., Germany and Japan. In December you will be able to watch The Grand Tour in over 200 countries.
Watch The Grand Tour Episode 1 on your computer, iPhone, Android or on a variety of streaming devices that allow you to watch on your TV.
If you need to take The Grand Tour with you the iPhone, iPad and Android Amazon Video app allows you to download The Grand Tour to your device over WiFi and then take it with you when you travel.
Kicking off the show we see the team dropping a Prius on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. Even if it is a fake, it’s exactly what you would expect from Clarkson, Hammond and May as the LA Auto Show is in full swing.
Amazon.com bought 36 episodes of The Grand Tour, hoping to rekindle the spark that brought viewers to Top Gear week after week. Unlike many specials on Amazon and Netflix you cannot binge watch all of the The Grand Tour episodes in one sitting — or one road trip.
You can count on a new episode roughly every week, though the only confirmation is that the 6th episode will arrive on January 6th. The show starts in Los Angeles California and then travels across the world. The next locations include;
- Johannesburg, South Africa
- Whitby, England
- Rotterdam, Netherlands
- Lapland, Finland
- Stuttgart, Germany
- Nashville, Tennesee
- Loch Ness, Scotland
- Dubai, UAE
Three episodes are still filming this year, but the vast majority of the show was already shot over the last six months. Don’t forget you can share your Amazon Prime membership.
