The Smart Q7 Tablet

I think the jury is still way, way out on this one, even though Steve ““Chippy” Paine is trying his best to get some nailed down info. That said, the Smart Q7 Tablet or MID looks to be a CrunchPad/Apple Media Pad-like device. You know one of those devices just built for Internet consumption. What’s intriguing is the price point of $189. It is advertised as running a Samsung Arm processor and I doubt we’d see this in the states, but it should be worth following Chippy’s adventures to try and get more info on this.

Damn, they should have added some gaming controls to it. That would have been a nice homebrew machine.

I’m looking at some screenshots and they waste a lot of space with the titlebars. What they should have done is make the taskbar a little taller, and put the Min/Max/Close buttons in the taskbar button. Just made them visible on the currently in focus app. Get rid of the titlebar, make windows moveable by dragging the menubars, or by clicking the Move menuitem when you click the icon in the taskbar, then drag the form
