Joanna Stern of Laptop Magazine got her hands all over the Toshiba Mini NB205 Netbook and walked away very, very impressed. Here’s the money quote:
With a beautiful chassis, a spacious keyboard and touchpad, an exemplary 8.5 hours of battery life, and a competitive $399 price tag, Toshiba’s netbook rises above the competition.
For those looking for something a little cheaper there is a $349 version that doesn’t have the decorative lid and the island keyboard. Apparently that’s it as far as different configurations are concerned. This is Toshiba’s first Netbook entry and judging by Joanna’s review, they seem like they have a winner on their hands.
