New Uncharted 4 release details have emerged and they should have those of you looking forward to the multiplayer portion of the game feeling excited.

Sony and Naughty Dog have made a huge Uncharted 4 multiplayer announcement today and it outlines everything you need to know about that part of the game. From maps to relics to boosters, everything you need to know is covered. 

Perhaps the most interesting piece of information is that all of the game's upcoming multiplayer DLC will be unlocked through gameplay/Relics. The companies note that there is no "pay-to-win" strategy, a tactic employed by some of the biggest video game devs. 

There is also an Uncharted 4 multiplayer DLC roadmap and it covers gamers through the spring of 2017. Again, all of it is coming at no additional cost. 

The companies also note that there will be single-player DLC. If you purchase the game's Triple Pack you'll get access to the "the first-ever single-player story add-on for the Uncharted series."
