Mobile Is the Easiest Way to Unsubscribe from Email Lists

My mobile inbox runneth over with newsletters for new services, car dealers, realtors and every sleazy dating site you can imagine, but now I’ve taken my inbox back with is a new service that connects to Gmail, Google Apps and Yahoo email accounts to clean up the junk email that clogs up inboxes.

The service is free to use and takes minutes to set up. There is no mobile app yet, but it’s worth signing up on a computer or iPad to reclaim your mobile inbox.

My personal email account is commonly used by people who don’t want to give their own email out, and while Priority Inbox does a good job it isn’t perfect. found over 400 subscriptions in my inbox and helped me unsubscribe from 250 subscriptions in a matter of minutes.

The service groups newsletters by type so it is easy to look for the ones you want to unsubscribe from, roll up or return to the inbox.

  • If you no longer want a newslettter, unsubscribe and will handle the unsubscribe process for you. There is a 60 minute delay before the unsubscribe is processed, so it’s easy to fix an errant click.
  • For messages you want, but aren’t important enough for the inbox, can group into a Roll up, which is delivered once.
  • If a message is important, simple tell to return it to the inbox.

For the messages you roll up, will deliver them in the morning, afternoon or at night based on your choice.

When the Rollup arrives, it’s easy to click on messages and view the ones you care about. My roll up this morning included a hundred or so messages, all in one email.

The service is easy to use, and best of all it’s a free and easy way to clean up your inbox so you don’t get annoying notifications on your phone.

The service will soon offer a rollup app for iPhone and Android.

All email lists that I unsubscribed from are still being delivered to me and they started spamming me with daily emails. A bit ironic!
