The Verizon Galaxy Note 3 price is set at $299 and pre-orders are now live as Verizon matches AT&T for price and comes close to the Galaxy Note 3 U.S. release date set by AT&T.
The Verizon Galaxy Note 3 price is in line with other contract pricing, but it appears the carrier is undercutting the competition with a $699 Galaxy Note 3 off contract price.
Verizon is promising the Galaxy Note 3 will ship by October 10th, which is just a few days after the other major U.S. carriers.
The Verizon Galaxy Note 3 comes with a larger 5.7-inch display that boasts a 1080P HD resolution. This is a jump from the 5.5-inch 720P display on the Galaxy Note 2. This new display also features Adapt Display, which automatically adjusts properties to deliver a better viewing experience depending on your current environment.
The Verizon Galaxy Note 3 also comes with a new faux leather back that replaces the plastic normally found on Samsung devices. Even with the new leather styling, the back is removable, letting users expand the 32GB of internal memory with up to a 64GB Micro SD card and swap batteries when one is dead.
Buyers who pick up the Verizon Galaxy Note 3 will also get the new S Pen which automatically opens Air Command when pulled out. Air Command is a fan out menu that lets users pick from five S Pen options including;
- Action Memo
- Screen Write
- S Finder
- Pen Window
These new S Pen activities let users better use the S Pen to launch apps, make calls, multitask and to search the Galaxy Note 3.
The Samsung Galaxy Gear is a smart watch that connects to the Galaxy Note 3 and shows alerts and other information on-screen. It can also run its own apps and there are already 15 Galaxy Gear Apps confirmed for the device.
