Verizon Rolling Out 4G LTE to New Batch of Cities on July 21st
Verizon announced today that it is bringing its 4G LTE network to 12 new markets and will be expanding service in three other cities starting July 21st.
The list of cities that will see 4G LTE service come July are:
- Springfield, Massachusetts
- Huntsville, Alabama
- Knoxville, Tennessee
- Greenboro-Winston, Salem-Highpoint, North Carolina
- Raleigh-Durham, North Carolina
- Augusta, Georgia
- Wichita, Kansas
- Toledo, Ohio
- Carbondale, Illinois
- Marion, Illinois
- Chattanooga, Tenneesee
- Charleston, South Carolina
And the markets that will see expansion are:
- Los Angeles, California
- San Diego, California
- Louisville, Tennessee
Some big names on that list to be sure and with Verizon’s 4G LTE network seemingly growing by the month, we’re inching ever so closer to the day that it’s worth buying a 4G LTE enabled smartphone.
