Silicon Valley Sleuth has a great video of Motion Computing’s C5 Clinical Assistant Tablet PC. In addition to showing Motion’s CEO, Scott Eckert, demononstrating the C5, it is also shown being used by a nurse in a patients room.
Good stuff. It is great to see actual footage of the new Tablet PC in use. Until I saw that handle on the C5, I never thought much about them on Tablet PCs. It makes total sense, though, and I’d like to see more Tablet PC OEMs develop solutions with handles that speak to vertical industry needs. Bumpcases are nice, but being able to carry around the tablet with that integrated handle looks like something I could really get in to, especially if it sported a built-in stand.
