Once your iPhone is unlocked in iOS 9.2, anyone can read any note on your device. While you can avoid handing your unlocked iPhone to anyone you don't trust, there are times you want to share videos or photos with someone and they could easily switch to your Notes for a look. If you use Apple Notes in iOS 9.2, there is nothing to stop them from seeing medical info, passwords or financial information you store there. Here's how to lock notes on iPhone and iPad in iOS 9.3. The iOS 9.3 update lets you lock down private notes in Apple Notes with an option to unlock with a password or Touch ID. The iOS 9.3 upgrade also allows you to sort nots by date created, date modified and alphabetically so it is easier to find the notes you want.
Additional new iOS 9.3 Notes features and fixes are listed above. This will also come to the Mac with OS X 10.11.4, through a passcode unlock option. | ||||||||||||||||||
