I’m confused. I’m possibly ignorant on this matter. But what is up with BlueTooth support on the iPhone and apparently the upcoming Android phones? Apple has locked down BlueTooth support from its developers so that you can use hands-free devices only. But even with a headset you can’t do voice dialing, which sort of defeats the entire hands-free concept. It also looks like Google is taking a similar approach the Android SDK, potentially keeping BlueTooth access away from developers. Windows Mobile has had this for what seems like forever. In an age where more and more state legislators are considering hands-free legislation, I’m puzzled by this. Anyone got answers?
