Loren Heiny points out some interesting potential news on the Ultra-Mobile PC front from Everex. If you haven’t been following the news lately, Everex has created quite a stir by introducing a $198 Linux box that is being sold through Wal-Mart. They are also working on a $300 notebook and according to this PCWorld report, they have their sights set on UMPCs and other mobile devices as well.
