livemeshlogoGood news for Mac users who also use Windows devices and Windows Live Mesh. Looks like the Windows Live Mesh team has gotten a version ready for Apple’s Snow Leopard. They just announced the release.

A new version of the Live Mesh Mac software is available that provides support for both Mac OS X Leopard (10.5) and Snow Leopard (10.6). Leopard users are not required to install this release.

To upgrade to this new release, you will need to reinstall Live Mesh for Mac. To do so, please go to https://www.mesh.com, sign in with your Live ID, and download the Mac client software from the “Devices” page.

Version number

•         Live Mesh Mac: 0.9.4501.0

Included in this update

•         Mac – Repairs client use for OS X Snow Leopard (10.6)

Windows Live Mesh was a casualty of the release of Apple’s Snow Leopard.

still broke for me – intermittent spinnning beach ball, system slows down, problems signing in – on two different macs, too.

moved on…come to realize that Live Mesh for the Mac is not a priority for Microsoft and the Live Mesh team, but syncing between various platforms is a priority for me.

    SugarSync it is…

All seems to be working as advertised here at the moment.

as long as it does not support encrypted, and thus removable, hard drives, it’s useless for a portable, and thus easy to steal, device in my opinion.
