Google Fires a Shot at Apple in the App Store Wars with a Return Policy

Posted by | 02/18/2009 | 3 Comments

Android_market_01 As the App Store wars heat up, Google has fired a shot directly at Apple by announcing a policy that allows for customers to return apps for a refund if they aren’t happy. Customers have a 24 hour window within which to effect the return and receive a full refund.

It the category of what do I know, this only makes sense, so it will be interesting to see if Apple (and of course others) will follow suit. I’m not holding my breath.

I don’t consider this a shot at Apple, but instead a shot at developers. In other words: Don’t make useless crap applications on Android (like on the iPhone) or else.
