Google Cloud Printing Goes Mobile

Published

on

Google announced Google Cloud Print for mobile documents. Like most all new Google services, Google Cloud Print for mobile carries the beta tag. The service will be rolled out to Google users over the next few days.

Google Cloud Print allows users to print documents without having to worry about setting up software or drivers on devices. Web connected printers need to be registered with your  Google account and Google Cloud Printing. Once that’s done, you’ll be able to hit print on any Google Doc.

Google Cloud Print for mobile documents will work on iOS 3+, Android 2.1+ and any other mobile devices that has an HTML 5 capable browser. As you can see in the screen grab above, Google’s thrown in a bit of geek/workplace humor that reminds us of the pains of working in a cubicle.

I don’t know about other people, but I’ve had no luck getting this to work, even just within Chrome!
