HTC EVO 3D Coming to Europe Next Month
HTC has announced that it will be bringing its HTC EVO 3D smartphone to Europe at some point this July, another sign that Sprint no longer has an iron grip on the EVO name.
The device that is setting sail next month is the exact same device as the American version except the European model will have GSM radios inside of it. Other than that it’s still the same 4.3-inch, Gingerbread powered brute that was release on June 24th here in the States.
Specifics in regards to the price and to which carriers the phone would be headed remain a mystery. HTC did state that the phone would be launched “broadly” across Europe so it will likely end up in most big markets.
Just to remind those of you across the pond, the EVO 3D sports a 4.3-inch 3D qHD screen with 960 x 540 resolution, 1.2GHz dual-core processor, dual rear 5MP cameras, 1.3MP front facing camera, 1080p video 2D video recording, and it will be powered by Google’s latest and greatest, Android 2.3 Gingerbread with HTC Sense 3.0.
It’s one of the best Android phones to date and should immediately shoot up onto the wish lists of European Android enthusiasts.
