T-Mobile Promotes New Gingerbread-Powered LG G2X with Free Price Tag

Now that the T-Mobile G2X has re-appeared on T-Mobile’s portfolio of Android smartphone, the carrier is running a promotion through July 28th that will make the dual-core offering from LG for free with a two-year contract. The phone was initially plagued with some random rebooting problems initially, but it seems that the carrier and LG had worked out the kinks with the latest software update bringing the mostly un-marred Android experience up to Android Gingerbread.

The offer is available online only. The phone normally costs $200 with a two-year contract.
