Samsung Droid Charge Keeps Getting Cheaper

Tired of waiting for the Motorola Droid Bionic? Have a feeling that the Samsung Galaxy S II won’t have LTE on Verizon? Want 4G LTE access without paying a fortune? Want Verizon LTE instead of AT&T LTE? Don’t want to deal with the HTC ThunderBolt’s issues? Not intrigued by the HTC Vigor or the 4G LTE enabled LG Revolution 2?

Well, then you probably want to check out Amazon Wireless’ deal on the Samsung Droid Charge which has fallen all the way to $70 on a new two year contract ahead of the Droid Bionic’s launch. Don’t act shocked.

Samsung Droid Charge

Now, we reviewed the Droid Charge and found it to be a fairly capable phone with a fantastic display and let’s face it. $70 for a 4G LTE phone not called the LG Revolution is a fairly good deal. So, if you can no longer hold back, you can find Amazon’s offer here.

Just know that I won’t agree with your decision.

@AdamMills:disqus  Have you reviewed the Charge, or spent time with it? I ask because I might be buying one in the morning for $300 off someone. So wondering if its ultimately worth it?
    A. to give me something new to play with until the Bionic, or possibly Vigor comes out.(im bored of my D2G)
    B. because whether or not its that good, I can still re-sell it in a month from now for atleast $300+
Ive tested it in the stores, and it didn’t blow my socks off, but it was nice.

Also, I just spoke with a supervisor with Verizon activations dept, and asked her if the Bionic was definitely coming out on the 8th. She said she couldn’t say, but said, “I can tell you this, If thats what you’ve read, I can guarantee that it wont be delayed anymore”
So that sounds promising for the 8th.

I wouldn’t do it. With the prices going down like crazy on 1st gen. LTE phones, horrible battery life…etc.etc. not to mention ugliness… (nice screen res. though) You are NOT going to sell it for $300+ soon or even now. I have OG Droid, have been researching phones for 3+ months (almost to exhaustion), and with all the new phones on the horizon, I am just holding out for something that will last me for my 2 year contract as far as specs go. There is a reason why the guy is going to sell you this phone right now…….so buy it and find out why….or wait till there is something worth buying! Ask him why he is willing to sell it to you???

Yea but the thing is, I hardly ever see people selling the DCharge. most people say its a solid phone, great battery life, great camera.
If I ever see them on CL for sale they are like $400-$500.
I just want something to play with for now. People are still selling Droid X’s for close to $300, and iPhones for $500-$600(that absurd)  I know ill atleast get my money back for sure, you see how phones sell.
But your possibly right, I think its just do to the fact that Ive been waiting so long to get a new phone that Im just wanting a change, and becoming impatient. The Droid Charge is kind of boring, but just a new toy I guess.
I’ve had my upgrade available for months now, an as of yesterday my new every 2. So thats killing me that there is nothing good, and to keep waiting on this bionic, now vigor, then whatever else…
