Spec Showdown: iPhone 4S vs Galaxy S II vs HTC Titan

Published

on

We’ve already shown you how Apple’s latest iPhone, the iPhone 4S, stacks up against the iPhone 4, and now, thanks to Android Central, we have a very clear cut way to show you how it stacks up against competition outside of Apple products. Unfortunately, we can’t quite put it up against the likes of the Samsung Nexus Prime or HTC Vigor just yet, so we’re instead going to have to settle for a little device called the Samsung Galaxy S II along with some Windows Phone and BlackBerry.

What we have here is the iPhone 4S pitted against competition that consists of the Android powered Galaxy S II, the Windows Phone powered HTC Titan, the BlackBerry OS powered Bold 9900, and the now defunct, webOS powered, HP Pre 3.

The iPhone 4S’ only competition here, at least in my opinion, is the Galaxy S II.

It’ll be nice when we can put the iPhone 4S up against some more serious competition. Nothing against the Galaxy S II, I am talking more in terms of Android Ice Cream Sandwich powered devices.

Luckily, it shouldn’t be more than a couple of days before we can do just that.

What? The 4g LTE Bionic im currently typing on must not yet exist and therefore must not be a competitor against the iphone 4.

4gs Epic Fail.  No wonder they are suing everyone.  Their new phone is falling behind, and they knew it 10 months ago.

    Ha!

iphone 4s is THE BIGGEST DISAPPOINTMENT since 3GS.
iphone 4s presentation was soooooooooooooo NERD-oriented and BORING that I almost fell asleep.
It was just an absolutely lame presentation for only tech geeks, who want to know camera layers (like any other cameras don’t have those layers!) and 60% more captured pixels (like it’s not about 8Mp sensor, but about Apple invention), heated up by infinite FALSE rumors and media bubble-hype.

    Galaxy SII is awesome.

Waiting for upcoming much anticipated tomorrow HTC EVENT (Ocotober 6, London!!!), HD 1280x720p (superRETINA display, so it will EASILY beat 4S&4) megasmartphone, Beats studio HQ sound, celebrities, music and awesome mood!

HOPE for Android 4 ICS tomorrow! Nexus Prime probably should be the first, but Google could give HTC the right to show FIRST Android 4 ICS smartphones at the same time giving SAMSUNG the right to create Nexus Prime.

I want HD screens INNOVATION on smartphones. 720p!!!!!!

Android is the the world’s #1 smart OS!

The iPhone only has 512mb RAM not 1gb. And the processor only runs at .8ghz because of power restrictions
