Today is April 26th, a date that was widely thought to be the Droid Incredible 4G LTE release date. Clearly, that’s not the case as both HTC and Verizon have remained mum. Well, now it appears that the device won’t be launching in April but will be coming during the month of May instead.
PhoneDog has be tipped to a possible May 10th release for the Droid Incredible 4G LTE on Verizon. May 10th is a Thursday and Verizon likes to launch phones on Thursdays.
Keep in mind, there is no physical evidence to back this rumor up so at this point, we have to take it with a grain of salt.
The Droid Incredible 4G LTE is quickly becoming one of the most leaked phones on the non-official smartphone market.
It has already shown up several times on camera and Verizon itself accidentally leaked the device, revealing nearly every important specification on the device.
That leak also revealed the phone’s possible price tag which at this point is thought to be $299.99 on-contract. Hopefully, Verizon comes to its senses and decides to offer it for much cheaper.
The Droid Incredible 4G LTE is rumored to have a 4-inch qHD display, a dual-core S4 Snapdragon processor, 4G LTE capabilities, and a design that is reminiscent of the previous two Droid Incredible smartphones.
It should also have Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich on board.
Those interested should circle May 10th in pencil for now but it looks like, at the very least, the phone will be out in May.
