Over the weekend, official tutorial videos for the still unofficial Motorola Droid RAZR HD leaked to the surface, a sign of not only of the device’s existence but also one that points to the Droid RAZR HD arriving on September 5th.
The videos, discovered by Droid-Life, were posted by a user named prevowii and they depict the Droid RAZR HD in a series of tutorials for beginners.
The videos, besides showing off how to use the Droid RAZR HD, are confirmation of the device’s existence at last. We have seen leaked photos and benchmarks, but this is our clear look at the device that we suspect will launch on September 5th.
Motorola and Verizon have announced an event that will be taking place in New York City on September 5th and while neither company has confirmed the device for the event, we expect that the Droid RAZR HD will be the focal point based off of the invite tagline and also based on the fact that we know of no other major devices that warrant a major event.
The Droid RAZR HD tutorial videos showcase several tips for beginners starting with a video that shows how to Make Calls and Send Texts.
Motorola also shows new Droid RAZR HD owners how to set up Email for the first time.
There is also a video that takes future owners on a tour of how to use the device which is essentially an Android tutorial.
Future owners are also shown how save battery life.
And how to use Wi-Fi.
The Motorola Droid RAZR HD has been one of the most heavily rumored smartphone launches in recent weeks though Motorola ad Verizon have yet to unveil anything specific about the device.
Leaked photos and benchmarks have emerged to paint a picture of a device that will replace the original Motorola Droid RAZR which launched in November 2011.
The device has said to have a release date sometime in either October or November, however, with a launch in early September, it’s possible that it could come sooner than that.
It’s very possible that Motorola just wants to get the announcement out before Apple announces the iPhone 5 which might take place on September 12th.
As for the other rumored specs of the Motorola Droid RAZR HD, they include a design similar to the original RAZR with a Kevlar backing, 4G LTE data speeds, a dual-core Snapdragon S4 processor, and Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich and not Android 4.1 Jelly Bean, Google’s latest piece of mobile software
