Consumers looking to grab a Nexus 4 today are now able to through Best Buy as the retailer has started selling the T-Mobile version of the Nexus 4 for the first time.

Earlier today, the Best Buy website showed the Nexus 4 as being ‘Out of Stock,’ peculiar because the website hadn’t before sold the Nexus 4, Google’s most current Nexus smartphone. However, we expected the device to go live at any moment and sure enough, the Nexus 4 is available through Best Buy’s website this very moment.

The listing now shows the device as being in stock which means that those who wish to snag T-Mobile’s version of the Nexus 4 can now do so for $199.99 on-contract. That is the same price that T-Mobile charges for the Nexus 4 though it appears that Best Buy offers the phone without a mail-in rebate. Those who are forgetful will likely want to take this route instead of T-Mobile’s which requires a $50 mail-in debate for that $199.99 price.

Best Buy is also offering an off-contract version of the device though the price is steep. Best Buy is asking for $600 for the right to buy a no-contract version making it an offer worth refusing. Instead, users should wait for the Nexus 4 to come back into the Google Play Store, unlocked, sometime during the month of February.

LG has confirmed that it hopes to have the Nexus 4 supply issues tackled by the middle of next month though the company, which makes the Nexus 4, did not say exactly when the Nexus 4 would come back into stock.

The Nexus 4 has been out of stock in the Google Play Store since the month of February, and intermittently sold out through T-Mobile’s online store for several months. Those looking to get a quick fix have been forced to buy using other means like eBay and Craigslist where pricing is much more expensive than through official retailers.

The fact that Best Buy is now selling the Nexus 4 gives users another option but don’t be surprised if that option becomes exhausted in the relatively near future.
