The device will be the company’s answer to the newly announced HTC One, the iPhone 5 and the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S4 which is said to be coming in March. The Sony Xperia Z Android 4.2 update could arrive in March. The Xperia Z features some high-end specifications including a 5-inch 1080p display, quad-core processor, a 13MP camera, a water and dust resistant design, and a minimal UI experience on top of Android. The device runs Android 4.1 Jelly Bean which isn’t the latest version of Android. Knowing that users would be wondering about Android 4.2 Jelly Bean, Sony quickly confirmed that the update would be arriving shortly after launch. If true, it likely means the software is in testing. What’s more is that the update is evidently going to be coming to European Xperia Z devices as soon as March.
