Samsung Galaxy S4 Coming to AT&T, Sprint and Verizon

On the heels of the Samsung Galaxy S4 announcement, three American carriers have outright confirmed the Galaxy S4 for their 4G LTE networks as AT&T, Sprint and Verizon will be offering the Galaxy S4 in the future.

The Samsung Galaxy S4 was finally announced today at the Radio City Music Hall in New York City amongst a throng of onlookers and media coverage. The device had been rumored for months up until this date with rumors surfacing on a daily basis. Now, we know what to expect from Samsung’s Next Big Thing as the device has been confirmed to have a 5-inch 1080p display, quad-core processor, 13MP camera, Android Jelly Bean, a design similar to the Galaxy S3 and some powerful smart software from Samsung.

In other words, many of the rumors that we heard prior to the device’s launch today proved to be accurate. In the build up to the launch however, rumors about American carriers were scarce with only AT&T and Verizon surfacing in rumors. Before the announcement, only Sprint MVNO carrier Ting had confirmed the device for launch.

Now, U.S. carriers have joined the party as AT&T, Sprint and Verizon have all confirmed the Samsung Galaxy S4 for launch with Verizon delivering the news through a tweet and Sprint and AT&T delivering the announcements through their websites.

All three will be carrying the device on their 4G LTE networks and while specific timing is not yet known, Sprint is saying that the device will roll out some time in the second quarter of this year which means that it will be available sometime in the months of April, May or June.

AT&T and Verizon will be getting the device in the second quarter as well, along with T-Mobile and U.S. Cellular.

Samsung has confirmed that the Samsung Galaxy S4 will roll out globally starting at the end of April and rumors have suggested that U.S. carriers will get the device in May or June.

T-Mobile, U.S. Cellular and Cricket Wireless have also confirmed that the Galaxy S4 will be coming to their networks in the second quarter of this year.

      In the us it will be a quad core because it will work on the 4g lte networks….in international markets it will have an octo core

    I saw the presentation. Totally campy and just plain bad. The features highlighted were good though. I think people with the S3 shouldn’t worry too much about it but those who are S1 and S2 owners from the beginning may want to give this some consideration.

    What kind of memory/storage does it have? my S has 16 and is constantly telling me I’m running out of room.

    It’s total BS that the US probably has to wait until June to get this (with a mid-March event). Why is Apple still the only one that gets this right!!? This should be on US store shelves in early April. It’s just unbelievable that Samsung can’t properly launch a phone! Shameful BS!

    its really the same as the past 2 Galaxy phones with the delayed U.S. release. Well the GS3 came out in June/July for most places last year and was far head of the GS2. So they have at least improved in that aspect
