White Nexus 4 Spotted Again, Days Ahead of Google I/O
The white Nexus 4 is back in a new set of photos just days ahead of the Google I/O conference which is drawing thousands of Android developers and press to San Francisco.
In a new group of photos we get a look at the white Nexus 4 which the original poster shares with the tags #io13 and #io though he later comments that he has no knowledge of a white Nexus 4 showing up at Google I/O. Ervin Sue, based in the Philippines claims he bought the white Nexus 4 at his local “buy and sell website.”

The photos show what appears to be the same white Nexus 4 we’ve seen in the past, though interestingly the nubs that LG added to the black Nexus 4 recently don’t appear to be on the device. It’s possible they are just not visible in the photos. The photos are reportedly taken with a Nexus 4.
CNet Asia spotted the white Nexus 4 photos, which were taken on May 1st but uploaded to Google+ over the weekend. The photos show the white Nexus 4 from multiple angles, but there is not enough detail to make out the FCC ID or model number which could point to a new model. Rumors indicate Google may be planning a Nexus 4 LTE model for reveal at Google I/O which may even work on Verizon.
The white Nexus 4 features white sides and a white back, but includes a black front, which matches up with previous leaks. We’ve already seen white Nexus 4 bumpers on sale at brick and mortar retailers and a few online listings, but Google is still not talking about the new Nexus 4.
Google typically announces some new hardware at Google I/O, and in 2012 the company gave out special white Google Nexus 7 tablets to attendees. This may be part of the “Chrome swag” Google teased on Friday.
Google is allegedly testing Android 4.3 on a new Nexus 4 LTE model. The poster makes no mention of a new version of Android on this device. Google is reportedly planning to show off Android 4.3, not Android 5.0 at Google I/O. This could leave an opening for a fall event with a Nexus 5 and Android 5.0.
