Those that are looking for a Father’s Day gift or simply a deal on an HTC One not called the Verizon HTC One are in luck as Amazon will be unleashing a huge deal on both the AT&T HTC One and Sprint HTC One just ahead of Father’s Day, dropping the price of the device all the way down below $100 on-contract.
In April, HTC unleashed the HTC One flagship smartphone that it had announced in February, with launches taking place on AT&T, Sprint and T-Mobile. Even with the Samsung Galaxy S4 launch and the impending arrival of the Sony Xperia Z in the United States, the HTC One remains one of the best smartphones on the market with its enticing hardware and software. Needless to say, there is quite a bit of interest in HTC’s new smartphone.
Those interested in the HTC One for personal use or as a Father’s Day gift are certainly going to want to heed Amazon’s deal that begins and ends tomorrow ahead of Sunday’s big day.
Amazon is going to be hosting a one day sale on the HTC One that will start tomorrow and will see the price of the AT&T HTC One and Sprint HTC One both slashed to the tremendously low price of $80 on-contract. That’s over $100 cheaper than the prices through the individual carriers and one of the cheapest HTC One prices that we’ll likely see for some time.
The $80 price tag is for new customers and those looking to upgrade will need to shell out $20 more for the privilege of buying the device for themselves or for Dad.
At the moment, it appears as though the Sprint HTC One is already at $80 though the AT&T model is still at the usual asking price of $150. That price should drop sometime in the near future.
Keep in mind, a Verizon HTC One launch is likely on the way and T-Mobile also carries the HTC One on its network though neither device will see this kind of pricing available in the short term.
The HTC One is one of the premier Android smartphones on the market featuring a beautiful all-metal design, 4.7-inch 1080p display, Ultrapixel camera, Android 4.1 Jelly Bean and the new Sense 5 that introduces HTC Zoe for the camera and HTC BlinkFeed for social mavens.
