The HTC One Android 4.2 Jelly Bean update is expected to arrive on a new carrier starting tomorrow though unfortunately, that carrier is not in the United States.

Earlier this month, HTC started rolling out the HTC One Android 4.2 Jelly Bean update to devices around the world. The HTC One Android 4.2 update is hitting a new carrier tomorrow.

Initially, the update was expected to roll out on July 29th, however, due to what Telstra is calling a “slight delay” by HTC, the update is set to emerge tomorrow though a roll out time is unknown.

The update will bring the new features of Android 4.2 Jelly Bean but it should also bring a number of improvements as well as the global update has issued enhancements to both HTC BlinkFeed and HTC Zoe, key components of the device’s HTC Sense software.

Telstra is just the latest carrier to issue this update and it’s also the latest carrier to beat the carriers in the United States to the punch. While carriers in places like Australia continue to keep customers in the loop, carriers in the United States remain reluctant to issue information.

AT&T, T-Mobile and Sprint, which all carry the HTC One, have yet to release any information in regards to the HTC One Android 4.2.2 update and consumers should not expect them to until the day that the software rolls out. Exactly when that might be is unclear but unofficial information suggests that Android 4.2 Jelly Bean will roll out before Android 4.3, the latest software from Google.

The Verizon HTC One is expected to arrive with Android 4.2 Jelly Bean on board and its release date is currently pegged for August 15th after an unannounced delay.
