Samsung Galaxy S5 Feature Confirmed Way Ahead of Release

Published

on

While the Samsung Galaxy S5 launch date is months away, Samsung is already spilling the beans on its next Galaxy devices, saying that its next Galaxy smartphones, which should include a Galaxy S5, will have 64-bit processing on board like the iPhone 5S.

Earlier this week, Apple unveiled the iPhone 5S, a device that will be coming with a whole bunch of perks including a well-equipped camera, fingerprint reader and a new A7 processing chip. The A7 chip will bring a 64-bit processor to the iPhone for the first time which means that the iPhone 5S will likely be more powerful than its predecessor.

Samsung uses layers of metal in some colors to bring out a shine.

The Samsung Galaxy S5 is rumored for March, 2014.

We should see a speed boost and power and we should also see applications that are written for the 64-bit processor display higher performance. One example that has been used is gaming, which as gamers know, takes up a lot of processing power. There are not a ton of apps written for 64-bit yet but we should see some pickup now that the iPhone supports it.

Samsung, not to be outdone, claims that its next Galaxy smartphones will come equipped with 64-bit processing power. While the executive in The Korea Times report did not name the Samsung Galaxy S5 specifically, it’s safe to assume that Samsung’s mobile business chief Shin Jong-kyun was likely talking about the Galaxy S5 and beyond.

The Verizon iPhone 5s is a good choice thanks to a finished 4G LTE network.

The iPhone 5S will come with a 64-bit equipped processor.

This appears to be the first Galaxy S5 feature confirmed by Samsung itself, following in the footsteps of several rumors which claim the device will also be coming with a powerful camera which includes optical zoom and a March launch date just like the Galaxy S4.

Other than those rumors, the Galaxy S5 remains firmly in the shadows and it will likely remain there until later on in the year when excitement starts to pick up for a 2014 release.

Samsung recently announced its Galaxy Note 3, a device that will pair with the Galaxy S4, to take on the likes of the iPhone 5S, HTC One max, and HTC One. The Galaxy S5, when it arrives, will join the Galaxy Note 3, replacing the Galaxy S4 as the company’s flagship Galaxy S.

Only thing that sounds interesting is the optical zoom, which by that time will find itself on a Nexus handset. Good times ahead.

  4. I hope Samsung get this idea

Why not let galaxy s5 have the note 3 s pen feature, the one u press the button on the pen and the 5 features are listed. Just change the way to activate it, for example, hold the option key while tapping on the screen and the 5 features pop up.

Are Samsung taking the piss? Just got the S4 on a two year contract. Now the S5 is coming out and I cannot afford to change for another 18 months. Well never did want a ‘flag-ship!’
    Next phone a Nexus …….
