iPhone 6s Plus vs. iPhone 6: 10 Things to Know Right Now
iPhone 6s Cameras: One Reason to Wait
The iPhone 6 comes with an outstanding rear camera but as we've pointed out, its front-facing camera doesn't compare to the front-facing cameras on devices like the Samsung Galaxy S6. That could change with the iPhone 6s Plus. Apple's expected to bump the FaceTime camera to 5MP, a change that could bring better quality video chats and better looking selfies. That's not all though. There's talk of a bump from 8MP to 12MP in the rear. That would be significant given that Apple's used an 8MP sensor for a number of years now. Rumors also point to the arrival of 4K video capture which would be excellent for those that love high-resolution content. These aren't set in stone but this is an "S" year so we wouldn't be surprised if Apple delivered some high-powered hardware to offset the fact that the device will come with the same design.
