In February, Samsung announced a brand new smartphone with a curved screen to join the Samsung Galaxy Note Edge from last year. The device is called Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge and instead of one curve like the Galaxy Note Edge, it comes with a display that wraps over both sides.

Samsung's already confirmed the Galaxy S6 Edge Plus. It did so in an announcement regarding its second quarter earnings and it provided further evidence in a recent contest. This device is very real and it's probably going to be announced next week.  

Next week, Samsung is hosting an Unpacked event in New York City. And there, on August 13th, the company will almost certainly detail the Galaxy Note 5, Galaxy S6 Edge Plus and at least one other product. Unpacked events are saved for big smartphone launches and it's clear that Samsung has at least two new flagships on the way.
