Finally, the Moto X beat out the LG G2 and the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 for our final spot on this list. The Moto X gets the nod for a few reasons. First, it not only has solid hardware but it also possesses unique, smart software that offers some of the best features that Android has to offer.

Second, its design is fully customizable, ensuring that your Moto X will likely look different from your friends Moto X. Motorola recently added the wood casing too. And third, the Moto X is clearly going to get fantastic software support from Motorola. It's currently one of the only devices with Android 4.4 KitKat on board.

It doesn't hurt that it comes with a very affordable price tag or that it's assembled in the United States. This is one of AT&T's very best smartphones.
