The new Area-51m is designed from the ground up to meet the needs of today’s gamers and to pack in the tech needed to meet your gaming needs tomorrow as well.

With a striking new design that comes out of Alienware’s new “Legend” design language, this laptop looks the part and backs it up with the discrete NVIDIA GeF0rce RTX GPU options an 9th Gen Intel Core i7 and Core i9 processors. Gamers can take things further with the Alienware Command Center that lets you set up gaming profiles, unlock special features in over 150 titles and to boost the performance of the CPU and GPU. This gaming laptop supports 8-core processors, 2.5Gbit ethernet, 64GB of RAM and a narrow bezel display capable of 144Hz G-Sync tech.

With the 9th Gen Intel Core i9K processors you can overclock this gaming laptop and you can with up to an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2080 GPU, it’s going to handle the latest games with ease. You can also upgrade the CPU and GPU to extend the life of the gaming laptop and meet the needs of new games as they come out, without the need to buy a completely new gaming laptop or be tethered to an external GPU at your desk. You can perform a DIY upgrade with compatible parts or you can have Dell come to you and do an upgrade.

The new Cryo-Tech 2.0 cooling allows for better cooling without super-load fans with a combination of a new design, dual intake and dual exhaust, a high voltage fan. heat pipes, copper fin stacks and thermal control that keeps the laptop cool under load and still quiet when you are using the laptop for normal tasks instead of gaming.

This new Area-51m gaming laptop features AlienFX customizable lighting through various zones including the power button, Alien head on the back and an infinite loop. It is available in Lunar Light and Dark Side of the Moon. The laptop weighs 8.54 pounds, which isn’t too bad for a full-fledged gaming laptop with desktop grade tech inside.

It includes the Alienware TactX keyboard with 2.2mm of travel, anti-ghosting tech, individual key RGB LED lighting, N-Key rollover and a steel backplate for rigidity. he new three side narrow display includes 5th Gen Tobii Eye Tracking technology as an option. Dell offers four display options, all with a 17.3-inch size and 1080P resolution. The options are to include Tobii Eye Tracking and if you want Nvidia G-Sync technology. All display options support 300-nits brightness and 72% color gamut.

The Alienware Area-51m is available on January 21st, with a starting price of $2,549. There will be lower priced configurations available later.
