The hidden developer options menu is loaded with new stuff here, but again we're not sure how much of this will remain for the actual global release. That said, in dev options there's a new setting at the top for a Desktop backup password. It tells us that Desktop full backups aren't currently protected, and lets users create a password and confirm it. Maybe Google will use this to save and backup users desktop or homescreens to restore everything when they get a new device, or maybe this is something completely different, we're not really sure, but it's there. We will update once we learn more. | |||||||||
