Perhaps the best tweak to boost performance of iOS and apps is Nitrous. Essentially, it gives apps access to the Nitro Javascript engine, which was previously only available in Safari, which made Safari faster overall than other web browser apps.
However, with the release of iOS 8, Apple has made Nitrous obsolete, but that's only if app developers updated their apps to run on the newer API from Apple. There actually may still be some apps that aren't updated for this, which still makes Nitrous useful in some cases. |
