Droid 4 Official Photos Leak; Specs Compared to Droid RAZR
A few days ago, we heard that the Motorola Droid 4 might launch on December 8th, the same day as the Samsung Galaxy Nexus. Well, that date is looking pretty good as a mountain of evidence of the Droid 4’s existence surfaced over the weekend in the form of a couple official photos as well as a spec comparison sheet that pits it against the Motorola Droid RAZR.
This is our first real good look at the phone that looks like it’s going to be released just a few short months after the arrival of Verizon’s Droid 3. We very clearly can see that this is a 4G LTE enabled phone, unlike the Droid 3, and that it has an illuminated 5-row slide-out keyboard.
So, essentially, this is the phone that the Droid 3 should have been.
We also see that it has a 1.2GHz processor, 4-inch qHD display and Android 2.3 Gingerbread which means that it won’t have Google’s latest software, Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich, on board when it does arrive.
December 8th isn’t for sure yet, but now that this thing has been completely revealed, it would be hard to bet against it.
Any takers?
