Today AT&T announced both the Nokia Lumia 920 and Nokia Lumia 820 will arrive on its network on November 9.
The Nokia Lumia 920 will sell for $99.99 on AT&T and pre-order for the device begin tomorrow, November 7. For a limited time that price will include a wireless charging pad for the Lumia 920, later the wireless charging pad will cost $50. AT&T will offer the Nokia Lumia 920 in four colors: cyan, black, red, and yellow.
Nokia’s mid-range phone, the Lumia 820 will also arrive on AT&T on November 9 with pre-orders starting on November 2. The Nokia Lumia 820 will sell for $49.99 on AT&T, half the price of the flagship Lumia 920. The Nokia Lumia 820 will only come in black, but users will have the option to buy different colored backs for the phone. Some back covers for the device also include wireless charging.
Nokia’s flagship, the Lumia 920, has a 4.5-inch PureMotion HD+ ClearBlack display with a 1280×768 resolution. The “PureMotion HD+ ClearBlack” name means the device has a high refresh rate so words still look smooth when scrolling, and it’s easy to read in any light. The screen is also very sensitive, so users can use it with gloves on.
Inside the Nokia Lumia 920 has a 1.5 GHz dual-core Snapdragon S4 processor, NFC, 16GB of storage space, and a 2000 mAh battery.
The phone also has an 8MP PureView camera which is arguably the best camera for taking low-light photos. The camera was the cause of some controversy after Nokia debuted the phone, but so far reviews say the camera is one of the best cameras available on a smartphone.
The Nokia Lumia 820 has a smaller 4.3-inch ClearBlack display with an 800×480 resolution. The phone has the same 1.5 GHz dual-core processor as the Lumia 920. The Lumia 820 it has only 8GB of storage space and lacks a PureView camera, however.
Both phones have AT&T 4G LTE and run Windows Phone 8. Both phones can also use exclusive Lumia apps like Nokia City Lens.
