After a long wait, the music streaming service Spotify has confirmed that it will be heading to the United States as the company has updated its website with a sign up page for people living in the U.S.

For those that can’t see it in the photo or don’t want to read it on a horrible green background, here is what Spotify says:

The award-winning music service that’s taken Europe by storm will soon be landing on US shores. Millions of tracks ready to play instantly, on your computer and your phone.

Unfortunately, the company gave no further details in regards to what operating systems (iOS and Android are shoo-ins) the service would be coming to and when it would arrive exactly. You can however, put your email address in so ensure that you get an invite when it does finally launch in the United States.

For those unfamiliar with Spotify, it’s a free service that allows you to stream music anytime, anywhere. It has been a big hit in Europe and maybe, just maybe, it will pry a few people away from iTunes in the United States.
