If you own an iPhone 6 or iPhone 6 Plus, you should be aware that iOS 8.4 won't be the last iOS 8 stop for these two devices. No, Apple is planning to roll out a brand new iOS 8.4 update. Problem is, we don't know when it will come out. 

Apple's planning an iOS 8.4.1 update for all of its iOS 8 powered devices. The company recently released its second iOS 8.4.1 beta, a sign that the release date is getting closer. We don't have an official release date yet but we're expecting an arrival in August ahead of iOS 9.

iOS 8.4.1 isn't expected to be a big update for iPhone 6. Big fixes, security enhancemnets, and maybe a patch for the iOS 8.4 jailbreak. That's about all that we expect from the next iOS update for the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus.
