One of the strengths of the iPhone 6 Plus is its carriers. It's available on a number of big name carriers and it's also available on a number of smaller regional and pre-paid carriers. This is a phone that offers you a lot of choice and that's big. It means that you have tons of options when it comes data plans, network coverage, and more. 

This has never been one of the Galaxy Note's strengths. Its always been limited to major carriers in the United States and nothing more. We're still not sure what Samsung will do with the Galaxy Note 5 but we do know that it will probably arrive on the five biggest carriers including AT&T and Verizon. 

It's clear that Samsung has the iPhone on its brain with this launch so it wouldn't be surprising to see it do something different this year. That said, it's important to keep the device's release history in mind as we approach the fall.
